Reading and Healing The Chakra System E-mail
The idea of an aura surrounding the body is common in many spiritual traditions. It is a recurrent theme in religious art of the early Greeks and Romans, along with Buddhists and Christians.

The Aura is depicted as a halo, also called a nimbus or aureole and is often attributed to figures who have attained a certain radiance or inner (God-like) power.

A part of the source of this Aura are a series of energy centers that make up the core of our vital body. These energy centers are commonly called chakras.

They provide us with a diagnosis and a treatment tool for our energetic, emotional, physical and spiritual health.chakra_system.jpg

Each center resonates at a particular "frequency." And thus is affected by sounds, colours, thoughts and emotions.

There are many schools of thought regarding all aspects of the chakra system. It makes an interesting study, and will certainly expand your understanding (and control) of your our health and well being.
