 Staffs and Talking SticksStaffs are often used as a symbol of power and magical prominence. They are traditional hand carved from wood, though any material can be used, since woods represents the Earth and Nature, many wiccans and pagans prefer this material.
Staffs are also used as a focal point for energy within rituals and spells on much more grandeur scale then small rituals or spells.
